Jeg har været i tænkeboks mht. hvad jeg ville gøre med opmåling af garnindkøb/forbrug i år… Jeg kan rigtig godt lide at holde styr på, hvad jeg får brug, og også hvad jeg får købt, men i 2008 løb det lidt skævt, da jeg faktisk fik garn på mange andre måder end ved at købe det selv.
Så jeg har bestemt, at der i år er nye regler. Jeg vil holde regnskab på to konti:

• Stash out: holder styr på alt, der går ud af lageret. Det tæller forbrug (strik, hækling, mm), udsmid, bortgivning, osv.
• Stash in: tæller alt der kommer til huse. Her tælles også, det garn jeg spinder (gisp), får i gave, og får til at designe med.

Så må vi se, om der er mere eller mindre på lager, når året er omme!

I have been thinking long and hard about what I wanted to do with my measuring of yarn in/outflow this year. I really like keeping count with how much I use and how much I buy, but in 2008 it all went a bit to a side, since I actually ended up getting a lot of yarn in other ways than by purchase. So I’ve decided that this year needed some new rules. I’ll keep the tally on to counts:

• Stash out: will count all yarn that leaves the stash. This includes what I use (knitting, crocheting, etc.), what I throw away, what I give away, and thus forth.
• Stash in: will count all and everything that enters the stash, however temporary. This also counts the yarn I spin (eeek), get as presents, and to design with.

We’ll have to wait and see if there is more or less in the stash when the year turns again!
