Why do today (or this year) what can wait for tomorrow (or next year)? I must have been thinking something like that in November last year, when I finished knitting my Kraka shawl. Since then it has only been missing the last finishing touches – among those a good block.
But preparations for vacation can consist of many things. So finally I’ve managed to wash and block the shawl… filling all of our sofa with it. Now it just needs to dry and then it is ready to become a gift for someone in the future.
Another nice little thing to cross of my list! And now back to the summer cleaning… I can’t abide leaving for holiday from a not clean home!

KAREN – YOU ARE A PIG INDEED!!!!
Just had to write it like that, because it’s totally true, and it sound so horrible 🙂
You’re a Water Pig, which is quite a lot more adorable in the Chinese Zodiac, than it sounds at first. They’re quite fond of Pigs, we’re very far from the Western low status. Patient, cheerful, outgoing, bu nature kind and caring, easygoing manner, resilience and tenacity…uhh yes, a cute little pig I believe you are.
As you just wrote in your eight tag facts about loving your family; the Water Pig in particular is “happiest of all in the bosom of the family.”
A little further – you’re a Libra in the western Zodiac. This makes you a Libran Pig; seeking beauty, creativity, and refinement in your life, your home, and your partner, and crave life of ease. Genial, tolerant, and easy-going, these people make sociable and affable companions. Indecision, however, is the Libran Pig’s greatest foible.
Honored to be tagged by you, I’ll come up with something. And yes, you can come along for the argument with Erik :D. Some of it at least, I expect a second private half (gotta try that make-up sex thing, it sounds amazingly interesting)
