A.K.A Sock In Progress! (this post will first be in English, then Danish)
I wanted to show how far I’ve gotten with my Secret Sock for my Sockapalooooza4 pal. I’ve had it on standby for some days, as I had to think long and hard about how I wanted the heel to be. I think, I migth have sorted it out, but take a look and tell me if you like it and think it might work.
I wanted the ribbing to stop in a sort of natural way, therefore I chose to take the ribbing in, like shown in the right picture, on the heel flap. Now I’m just worried, that it might be uncomfortable to wear… should I cross my fingers (and knitting needles) and keep it or should I rip it?

Your heel looks great. I would keep it. I have a pair of socks with some ribs under the heel and it’s no problem. Go for it

The heel is gorgeous, and I don’t think it’d be uncomfortable at all. I’d keep it! It looks stunning! 🙂

Keep it. It’s going to be perfect for wearing with clogs or Birkenstocks. What an elegant detail.
And even with regular shoes, it’s not much more textured than heel stitch ribs, which are VERY comfy.

The detail at the heel is fantastic, and it doesn’t look like it would be uncomfortable at all!

I have some heels that continue the ribbing all way down to the sole and they are not at all uncomfortable. And yours even looks so much prettier. Keep it!

the heel is lovely. Please keep it.
And watch your heel spread across the Internet as the rest of us imitate you.
What a wonderful design.
