Update: Now I have pictures of the hoard!

  • 60 gr. bluefaced leichester uld i naturlig brun
  • 60 gr. silke/merino blanding i blå, sorte, sølv nuancer

Last weekend was the yearly festival for the Webknitters, and I participated for the first time… It was incredible, amazing and slightly worrying. I very nealy suffered a major case of “information overload”. But next year, I’ll be better prepared for all the beautiful knits in progress by all the wonderful, interesting people, all the new inspiration and new methods and all the yarn (!!!) and fibres and whats-not! It was wild!!!

I sort of happened to buy some yarn and a bit of fiber and … well it’s only good stuff, that I took with me home, and I really enjoy every bit of it (pics have to wait till the camera is up and running again):

  • 1 spindle in oak from Bente B, it is beautiful and lovely and spins like a charm
  • 60 gr. of blue faced leichester wool in a natural brown nuance
  • 60 gr. of silk/merino fibre in blue, black and silvery nuances
  • 500 gr. Opal sock yarn (2 petrol, 2 brown and 1 black/blue)
  • 100 gr. silk tweed yarn in turquise, from Nanna
  • 200 gr. New Zealand lambswool yarn in orange, also from Nanna (to use in another Livstykketrøje)
  • 2*100 gr. Urugay Lace in two colors, a beautiful turquise and an orange
  • 100 gr. wool/cashmere yarn in a wonderful greenish color

And then I don’t think I bought any more… which is good, because I would have had trouble closing my suitcase (I actually had trouble!).
