It is day 2 of the great war against moths, and the battle seems (so far – she said hopefully) to go well. It is very strange to be without all of my yarn, but I’m very grateful to my mother and to Linda, both who very sweetly let me fill their freezers with yarn.
Today has thus mainly consisted of transporting well packed yarn to the distance freezers, buying of moth-ticide (I need more for tomorrow and also lavender in small bags), buying of plastic cases for future storage and general washing and cleaning. My mood could very well be described as a moth-psycosis… I just hope that we soon have seen the last of the nasty flying things. I will however guarantee that I’ll keep an extra watchfull eye out for any small movement for the near (i.e. a couple of years) future.
One bad however, I can already feel the knitting abstinences… bad…
