I haven’t taken pictures of any knitting today (have been to work, sigh), so instead I offer these pictures of the results of my last playtime with the drum carder. I now have two portions of tweed lying about, waiting for their time on the wheel (which is occupied with alpaca for the moment, and I have some green merino in pole position), but I love blending so I really can’t help it.
The brown tweed is blended on a base of såne wool with merino, bluefaced leister, alpaca and angora (and something which I don’t know what is, besides that it’s wool). It has a lovely brown colour with blue and golden tones, and I really look forward to spinning a yarn of it. The green tweed has been blended from all sorts of left-overs and has many more colours than the picture shows. I think it’s gonna be nice!

I noticed these in your Ravelry stash and nearly left a comment. It is a lovey blend – that bottom picture is very paua like – esp. if the orange was a pink.
Compare with this:

Mmmm, det ser skønt ud!
Når jeg engang får mere plads, må jeg vist også i gang med at spinde!
Glæder mig til at se det færdige resultat 🙂

I always admire knitters who love to spin! I don’t think I would have the patience to card, spin and then knit! I am too much in a hurry to finish my items!! I do think that this is going to make some lovely yarn!!
