Strikkere verden over forbereder sig på at OL flammen bliver tændt. For ikke alene er det startskuddet på en idrætsbegivenhed af de store, det er også starten for Ravelympics, vanviddet, der har ramt 5860 medlemmer af Ravelry (og der bliver sikkert flere inden vi går rigtig i gang). Jeg har af uvisse årsager ikke været i stand til at holde mig selv tilbage, så selvom der stadig læses til væmmelig eksamen, så skal der strikkes fra i morgen og 17 dage frem!

Knitters from around the globe are at the moment preparing for the Olympic flame to be lit in Beijing. Not only will it herald the beginning of a sport event of major proportions, but it is also the start for the Ravelympics madness, which has hit 5860 members of Ravelry (so far, I bet more will join before tomorrow). I have for some reason been unable to keep myself at bay, so even though I’m still studying for the nasty exam, I will also be knitting serious style from tomorrow and 17 days forth.

Nogle projekter tæller med i flere events, men ellers er det den fulde liste… kun 8 projekter… det kan man da sagtens klare – især da de 4 allerede er påbegyndte… eller hva? Måske er det meget passende, at jeg deltager for Team Denmark, Team Hogwarts, men ikke mindst Team Hopelessly Overcommitted…

Some projects are competing in multiple events, but otherwise this is the full list… only 8 projects… easily done – especially since 4 of the are wips in various stages of completions… or what? Perhaps it’s very fitting that I’m competing for Team Denmark, Team Hogwarts and finally (but not least) Team Hopelessly Overcommitted…
