Hva’ dælen har fruen gang i? Jo, jeg er såmæn bare i hyper-lykke-land over at have klaret endnu en af årets julegaver i alt for god tid… i hvert fald i forhold til, hvad jeg plejer at præstere.
What is this madness? Well nothing apart from me being happy that I’ve managed to finish yet another Christmas present in awsome good time, not something I normally do.
Opskrift: Udgangspunkt i Wool Peddler’s Shawl fra bogen Folk Shawls, men i meget tyndere garn og mange, mange flere masker og mønstergentagelser. Masser af billeder her (Ravelry)
Pattern: I started with Wool Peddler’s Shawl from the book Folk Shawls as a base, but knitted with much thinner yarn and had many more stitches and lace repeats. More pictures here (Ravelry)
Materials: 100 gram Uruguay Lace yarn, which I bought last year from a fellow webstrikker on our festival, pure stash knitting in other words. The colour is more icy blue than the picture shows. The shawl measures 180 cm in width and 85 cm in depth.
Needles: 3mm Addi Turbo circular… a pleasure!
Hot or not? I’m satisfied and happy, so I deem it to be hot! I’m also always impressed at how much such a piece of knitting transforms when blocked!
