It’s our first Christmas as a little family… and that has to lead to some new traditions. One of the seems to be decorating the tree some days before Christmas. Then there are more time to look and enjoy, because it will not see many days after Christmas before it is dismantled.
But for now it stands in the living room and looks pretty and spreads joy and excitement. Most of the decorations are made this year (this month in fact), but there are also memories from New Zealand and gifts from friends in former years.
We are almost there. The tree is decorated, the turkey bought, the Mate has been on holiday for a week and we are well into the Christmas gear.
