The combination of the internet, a visa card, and far too wonderful shops is really, really dangerous. At least for my yarn budget. I have fallen, and fallen hard, a couple of times, both digitally and in the real world. Maybe I just needed a riot of a therapy shopping round (I fear the thesis), or maybe my stash has employed some kind of remote mind control… I suspect the latter as I have noticed that my stash seems in a brillian mood and is smirking from its boxes and bags and closets.

Dunlin hoardBut what did I buy? I have a few things to show. First fall was with the very wonderful new yarn shop, Holst Garn, on the net. The many colours tempted me and click click click, the mrs. had for a few things for MM… and there was really good service, as I found out when I noticed that a skein was missing from my order, a replacement was sent in very few days. Another of the falls happened at my favorite pusher, Bette Design, from where I came home with some Dunlin in soft and gorgoeus colours. It should make good knitting for warmer day, which we have been having lately.

So in total it has been a pretty good week for the stash… it seems to feel secure from the threath of imminent extinction! I only hope that that will enduce it to slack off its mind control!
