A couple of days ago I realised that I lacked some yarn. One could be forgiven for supposing that this is impossible with the size of the Stash residing in my home, but even that great beast has its limits. During a short search on the internet, I realised that I actually work rather close to Tusindfryd Cph, and that going past there on my way home was a viable option. I’ve followed Wenche for a while on her blog and on Instagram and have seen a lot of beautiful pictures of her new shop, so I really felt the urge to go visit in person as well.
I am really glad that I went on that visit, even though the specific yarn I was searching for still haven’t been found, but the shop was absolutely worth the trip. It is a small shop, but with a surprisingly airy feel, and a really great selection of yarn. I especially love her hverdagsuld, of which I may have purchased a little flock of skeins for a nondefined future project. I am pretty certain that this wasn’t the last time I wandered past there on my way home from work.

It looks lovely. A new knitting shop is opening in Dundee this weekend – bringing our tally of high end yarn shops to 2….oh the excitement.
What sort of yarn are you looking for?

Heh, it was a specific lack – I needed some white sock yarn of a certain brand.
Sounds lovely with another yarn shop – it’s good to have proper shops to visit and support (the Stash needs regular offerings to be kept docile)…
