I started the month of April by doing a throughough list over my current works-in-progress (wips) that related to knitting or crocheting. To be perfectly honest, there were more than I had anticipated… actually I had no less than 25 wips going at that point in time, and even I have to agree that that number is a wee bit high. Actually a second thought was that I seem to have deep holes hidden around my living room, cause the wips seems to hide from view… or maybe it’s just me developing a selective vision regarding the sofa area?

April is now designated Wip Wrestling month, which means that the goal is to reduce the number of wips as far as possible. All tricks are allowed, i.e. if a project has lost the spark that made me start it, then frogging is allowed. So far the game is going well for me. Besides Fishes, which was my oldest wip, I have also finished two smaller things yesterday. So the tally is on 22 right now.

But how many wips do I have remaining when the month is over? And am I able to resist the temptation of casting on a new project (or four)?

If you place a comment containing your answers to these two questions, you will participate in a drawing for two skeins of Malabrigo Worsted (one prize). I will randomly select a winner from all the given answers (it’s a freebie, this one). Please send in your answers before midnight Danish time on April 20th. The drawing will take place May 1st when I also have my own answers. Looking forward to seeing what you think about my knitting virtue!

Back in March I participated in “Malabrigo March” in a Ravelry group called Malabrigo Junkies. As I at that point in time didn’t own very much of this gorgeous yarn (this has since been remedied), I went other (non-knitting) ways and made a little singing show of devotion. I was so lucky as to win a prize for the submission, and that prize came in the mail yesterday: 3 skeins of beautiful, red malabrigo worsted. Thank you very much.

Now I just need to figure out what I should knit of it! In the mean time I might as well let the rest of you listen to my version of the “Wild Rover” also known here as “Malabrigo Galore!”

Mange tak til Erin fra Eat.Sleep.Knit for at lade mig bruge hendes billeder til videoen.

Many thanks to Erin from Eat.Sleep.Knitfor letting me use her pictures for the video.
