I had the great pleasure to show a bunch of knitting cruise tourists around Copenhagen this Tuesday. They had arrived that morning after an 11-day cruise from Rome, and Copenhagen was the last stop on the journey. Ragga Eiriksdóttir and Stephen West had been teaching classes on board the ship, and they joined us for the first part of the walk. The destination for that part was Torvehallerne (the new food halls in Copenhagen) and Uldstedet. That way a lunch break could handily combine yarn shopping and knit browsing with lovely food. Ragga and Stephen were “forced” by me to try out the fried fish in my favorite deli, but I think they kindly forgave me after tasting it. It was lovely and fun, and quite a big fangirl moment for me, to be perfectly honest (though they both were kind enough not to be bothered). Thank you for a fun chat to both of you!

The next part of the walk ended up at Rasmilla, where Mrs. Rasmilla Sanne, Signe, Charlotte, and Rachel were ready for chatting and good help in the shop. Later LenePernille and Trine joined us completing our network group, and Stephen were kind enough to visit in the evening for a little sit’n’knit. During the evening he told us that he’s perfoming in the Dance Halls tomorrow (Saturday) with a modern dance piece called “Knitting Project / Thousand Threads 5“. I think, it’s going to be a really interesting and fun arrangement and will definetely try to get there. It’s not that often you get to see a knitting dance performance, right?
