Though the knitting focus is set on socks for approximately the next 40+ weeks, I somehow manage to knit other things as well. Stashbusting goes forth and I slowly clear out the wips. At the same time the pile in the gift box grows, so it’s a pure win-win situation.
- Green Stash-buster shawl (Ravelry project link)
- Mønster/Pattern: Transition Stash-buster Shawl (Ravelry link) by Lykkefanten
I alt 402 g. / Several different green left over bits of yarn (amongst these 84 g of sock yarn = 8,4% on the Sock-O-Meter, I am on a roll here) and some gorgeous white pure wool yarn from New Zealand for the edging. A total of 402 g.
- Pind/Needle: 5mm
An accident happended during the washing, so now the white edging has gotten a miscolouring … not that brilliant, but not worse than I still feel I can give it away. I think it turned out very well and it is always good to burn though some stash.

I this shawl as much as the first one. Some day I’ll knit one myself for sure. Just hope I’ll find wonderful yarns as you did.
