I dag er vi halvvejs inde i de Olympiske Lege og derfor også halvvejs i Ravellenic Games. Jeg har jo sat mig for at strikke Viggo‘er til begge drengene, så efter planen skulle jeg være færdig med den ene i dag. Hvordan går det så?

Today marks the halfway point in the Olympic Games and thus also the halfway point in the Ravellenic Games. I’ve set the goal to knit a Viggo for both my boys, so after the plan, I should have finished (or be finishing) one of them today. So how does my knitting stand?

Se, det ser jo rigtig fint ud indtil videre, men det snyder gør det! For desværre mangler ryggen, halskanten og alle sammensyningerne…

See, it looks fine so far, but it’s a deceptive picture! Unfortunately I still need to knit the back, the neckline and I need to sew all the seams as well…

Jeg prøver at trøste mig med, at jeg er startet med den store trøje. Der må trods alt være mindre strik i LBs end i MMs trøje. Det kan jeg jo så prøve at tro på, mens jeg får pindene til at klikke for fuld fart.

I try to console myself with the fact that I’ve started with the biggest size. After all, there has to be less knitting in LB’s sweater than in MM’s. Such I have to believe, while I make the needles click even faster.
