I only managed to finish one of the sweaters for the boys, the other is about halfway done. So I haven’t knit to deserve a gold medal, but still I think I deserve one of silver. MM is very happy with his new sweater and asked several times the last days before I finished if his new sweater was done. He was neither hard to persuade to a little trip to the playground wearing the sweater and short trousers this Saturday, where the weather was actually so hot that it was paramount to bad parentship to let him wear wool, but he did want to…

The design is Viggo from Sanne = Rasmillas wonderful production. A lovely sweater which also is easy to adjust. I knit a size 4/5 year for my long almost-4-year-old and knit both sleeves and body several ridges longer. This turned out to be a wise decision, since the sleeves fit just right when he tried it on, so the hope is that they’ll fit during the winter too.

Et absolut must for feriestrik.

Most of the sweater is knit either in the car driving to and from Austria on the family sommer vacation or in front of the tv in the rented appartment watching OL in the evenings, in other words, it is a project which is easy to put down and take up. An absolute must for any vacation knitting project.
