I have finished the pattern for a little shawl, which I am very happy to be able to present to you. This is ‘Hedelyng’ (Moor Heather in Danish), a scarf or mini shawl, which is worked from side to side from one tip to another. The lace pattern is simple and easy to knit, but yields a beautiful effect with the many repeats.

The dark green shawl is worked in 2 balls of Lanecardate Lamora from Woolspire, while the rose is worked in 3 balls of Jo Sharp Silkroad DK from 123knit.dk. The finished shawl measures 215 cm from tip to tip, perfect for wrapping a couple of times around the neck, or just grace the shoulders on a clear spring day.

The pattern is available both in Danish and English. It costs 30 Danish kr. and can be bought for immediate download either at Ravelry or Woolspire (so far only the Danish version is available at Woolspire, while Ravelry have both version).

I have had two fantastic test knitters to help – thank you Marianne (who have beautifully knitted the green version) and Ellen – without you the pattern would not have been nearly as good.
