I’ve played at being a photomodel today… or rather, my feet have been the models. The reason was that I had a work meeting with the lovely Woolspire ladies Heidi and Diana, where we were going to take pictures of a stack of my sock designs.

I’ve made a cooperative agreement with Woolspire, where I’ve gotten some lovely new yarn to make designs in, and furthermore some of my designs will be available to buy as pdf-downloads from their home page. All my designs will stay on Ravelry as well, but this is another site to be on, which is a good thing from my point of view.

Back to the sock modelling. It is surprisingly hard to stand in a multitude of akward positions to make the feet (and thus the socks) look nice, but it is also rather fun, and as an added bonus you get to have really bad “behind the scene” photos of yourself! Only one of them survived my internal censorship..

It was a productive and really fun afternoon, and I think we got good shots of all the knitting – which weren’t all socks. I just managed to finish a pair of fingerless gloves in Lamora from Lanecardate, so they could be photographed as well. I hope to be able to show you them soon.
