I am very happy to be able to show you my new sock design, the Ripple Stream socks. The beginning of my design adventure was with sock patterns, and I really still love knitting and designing socks.

Ripple Stream is actually a simple ribbed sock, but the rib is broken (or rippled) by a little neat cable pattern, which runs down the sock. The cables only involves two stitches at a time, so it is a perfect project for trying out cableling without a cable needle (there are many videos out there to help you get going).

Sweet Hanne (rocklobster.dk on IG and Ravelry) has test knit the socks, which is fantastic, as it ensures that the problems in the pattern is found before publishing, but also because I get to see the design in another colour. Wonderful.

You can find the pattern for the Ripple Stream socks via my Ravelry shop (link here). The pattern is both in Danish and English. The socks are knit on size 2.5 mm needles using a stardard sock yarn (400-420 m per 100 gram).
